Belarus celebrating Day of Defenders of Fatherland and Armed Forces

Belarus celebrates the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland and the Armed Forces. Solemn rallies and festive events are held in all regions of the country. A tribute was paid to the memory of the defenders at the "Alley of Military Glory" in Maryina Gorka. Fresh flowers were laid at the memorial, the memory of the fallen soldiers was honored with a minute of silence. The names of the Heroes of the Soviet Union are immortalized on one of the slabs of the monument. The "Alley of Military Glory" historical and cultural complex in Maryina Gorka was unveiled two years ago. The day before it got a new exhibit, a MiG-29 fighter aircraft.
