Belarus and EU might initial readmission agreement this year

Belarus has managed to convince the European partners of the need for a transitional period, during which our country will not admit citizens of third countries or stateless persons subject to readmission. This decision was made after expert consultations. The transition period will allow the implementation of the International Technical Assistance Project to set up temporary stay centers for illegal migrants. For these purposes, Belarus is allocated 7 million euros from the EU.
