The Belarusian Emergencies Ministry has sent help to Turkey to fight forest fires. The Belarusian rescuers will be deployed in a mountain and forest area. A MI-8 team’s mission is to help extinguish forest fires and deliver local rescuers to the spots of active fires. This is not the first time the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry helps its Turkish counterpart. Last year Belarusian rescuers completed 91 missions. The MI-8 discharged over 1,100 tonnes of water on active fires and carried more than 200 passengers.
