Bans and restrictions on visiting forests introduced in 33 districts of Belarus

The recent heat wave has complicated the situation in the forests. Bans and restrictions on visiting have been introduced in 33 regions of Belarus. Among them, 9 are in the Minsk region: Dzerzhinski, Krupski, Lubanski and Minsk. Detailed information is available as an interactive map published by the Ministry of Forestry. Violators face hefty fines. Forestry officials monitor the situation with the help of drones and video surveillance systems.
