Astronauts from 40 countries to attend ASE Planetary Congress 2018 in Minsk

Belarus is ready to host the 31st Planetary Congress of the Association of Space Explorers, Chairman of the Presidium of the Belarusian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Gusak said. Scientists from 40 countries will attend the forum. About 100 astronauts have already confirmed their participation. The Congress will start on the 9th of September, 2018. Besides astronauts, representatives of national space agencies, including NASA and the European Space Agency, will come to Belarus. This year the first Belarusian cosmonaut Pyotr Klimuk will take part in the Congress as well. The day before, the native of Belarus was awarded a diploma of an honorary member of the Belarusian Academy of Sciences.
