Excavations of a settlement belonging to the Zarubints culture are being carried out in the Rechytsa district. It existed in the 3rd century BC — the beginning of the 1st century AD. The project involves young scientists from Belarus and Russia. Excavations began in Soviet times, and were resumed in 2014. The work is carried out by the South Belarusian expedition of the State Hermitage Museum of Russia together with the Vetka Museum. Metal and bronze jewelry, knives, and fibulae are undergoing a stabilization process. The recovered artifacts fall into the hands of restorers. All the finds, according to Belarusian laws, will remain in the country and will replenish the collection of the Vetka Museum. All scientific discoveries and achievements of the Allied Expedition will become the property of world science.
