Application of DNA vaccine for cancer treatment researched in Belarus

Belarusian and American scientists developed a joint protocol for clinic research of cancer patients' treatment, Health minister of Belarus Vladimir Karanik told the press. At present, application of DNA vaccine for cancer treatment is being researched in Belarus. 15 patients having protracted tumors have been included into the project. They get either standard chemotherapy or chemotherapy combined with the new medicine. The doctors control the therapeutic benefit. It should be noted, that the tumor death rate in Belarus is declining. Two thirds of the patients overcome the illness and keep on living.
