Allowances for children under three years will be increased in Belarus from August 1. Maternity leave allowances will be raised due to the growth of the average salary in the country in the second quarter of this year. They will be increased by approximately 20 Belarusian rubles. The procedure for reviewing the payment of this type of benefits has changed in June. Now it will change twice a year – in February and August. In Belarus, there are 11 kinds of benefits provided to families in connection with the birth and upbringing of children.
