Alexander Lukashenko confers state awards and generals' shoulder boards

Today, President Alexander Lukashenko presented state awards to mothers of many children and honored workers in various spheres, as well as general's shoulder boards to officers. The solemn ceremony, timed to two holidays - the Day of the Defender of the Fatherland and the International Women's Day - was held in the Palace of Independence. In addition to awards and shoulder boards, the officers, and those whom they serve, meaning the fair half of the Belarusian society, enjoyed a tour of the Palace of Independence, and a solemn reception was held.
