Today, the Constitutional Court adopted the Address to the President and the Parliament of Belarus “On the state of the constitutional justice in Belarus in 2016”. Over the past year, the court examined 53 acts passed by the Parliament before their signing by the President for their compliance with the Constitution. Among the main tasks, the court named creation of a mechanism for evaluation of the efficiency of the laws. The court experts also noted the necessity to devise a potent mechanism for evaluation of impact of legal acts on the country's social and economic development.
