The first historical demonstration hall opened in 2005. Back then, the core of the exhibit was comprised of unique documents and weapons, including those seized from so-called "illegal diggers". In March 2025 the Ministry of Internal Affairs moved to a new building and the museum was rebuilt. It is now an interactive space featuring archival documents, awards, uniforms from various eras, and service weapons. At the center of the hall is a black Volga, part of a multimedia tour from 1917 to the present day. The office of the first Head of Minsk police, Mikhail Frunze, has also been recreated; thanks to modern technology, this historical figure literally "comes to life." A separate exhibit is dedicated to the 26 officers who died in the line of duty.
