Belarus fully supports World Health Organisation initiatives, making every effort to implement them, as stated by the President of Belarus at the WHO European Conference in Minsk. Alexander Lukashenko stressed that diseases should be fought together, with special importance to be attached to effective solutions and scientific studies. Belarus can offer the international community its experience in addressing a number of challenges, such as minimising Chernobyl disaster consequences, establishing powerful medical centres and maximising the availability of medical institutions.
