A five-for-five exchange through the intelligence services took place at the Pererov international checkpoint at the Belarusian-Polish border. Experts call the exchange unique. The negotiations lasted for about a year and were conducted at the personal request of the President of Belarus. The intelligence services from seven countries were involved.
