A delegation from the Chinese province of Heilongjiang visited Vitebsk

Vitebsk region and the Chinese province of Heilongjiang will develop cooperation in the food industry, pharmaceutics, logistics, education, as well as wood and oil refining. A draft roadmap of cooperation for the next 5 years was discussed in Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. Vitebsk and Heilongjiang have a lot in common. First of all, the geographical location — both regions are located in the north of their respective states. The basis of cooperation is agricultural. This is flax, meat and dairy products. The trade turnover is increasing; it is high time to launch more complex and effective cooperation mechanisms. After detailed consideration in Vitebsk, the draft roadmap of cooperation will be handed over to the governor of Heilongjiang province. His visit to Vitebsk region is scheduled for 2025.
