"Visible Image" is a large-scale project of the National Art Museum of Belarus and the Novgorod Museum-Reserve. The exhibition includes more than fifty icons, rare wooden carved monuments, and sculptures from the 17
th
— 19
th centuries. The Belarusian collection includes works by masters from Pinsk, Slonim, and Slutsk. The focus is on the images of Christ and the Virgin Mary, dated 1678, as well as the "Holy Trinity" of 1761. The Russian collection is presented in various styles — from strict canons to the innovations of the capital's schools. For the first time, all the exhibits, which underwent restoration at the beginning of the 21
st
century, are presented in one exhibition space. The exhibition is available for viewing until 24 August
