95% of Belarusian schools ready for new academic year

Belarus is preparing for the new academic year. About 95% of Belarusian schools are ready for it. Three new schools have been opened. This year, there are 110.000 first graders and 1.1 million school students overall in Belarus. «Back to School Day» is September 3. Simultaneously, the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry and the traffic police are now inspecting roads near schools and conducting a republican action «Watch out for Children». Until the end of September, specialists will visit schools and kindergartens and remind the children about the rules of behavior and safety.
