8 May is the World Red Cross and the Red Crescent Day

In Belarus, as well as all over the world, the Day of the Red Cross and Red Crescent is celebrated. The number of the Belarusian organization is over 1 mln people. Hundreds of thousands of Belarusians receive assistance every year, and the army of volunteers has exceeded 16.000 people. The Red Cross Month has also started. Until 1 June, volunteers and activists will hold exhibitions, charity campaigns and lectures throughout the country. Everyone will be able not only to learn more about the activities of the Belarusian Red Cross Society, but also to provide assistance to people who need it.
