The 79th General Assembly of the International Electrotechnical Commission will feature over 1,000 experts responsible for international technical policy in such areas as electronics, high-tech and energy efficiency. For Belarus, hosting the event means being able to defend the country"s interests in the development of international standards.Many institutes of the National Academy of Sciences and the country"s industrial enterprises have prepared proposals regarding the formation of global business foundations.
