600,000 m2 of asphalt to be replaced in Minsk in 2019

600,000 m2 of asphalt will be replaced this year in Minsk. The roller ski track will undergo a major reconstruction, 5 km of its surface will be completely replaced. The main bike path, which is currently 27 km long, will also be renovated. The plan is to gradually reduce the number of high curbs in the city and increase the number of bike parking systems. Repair works will begin in the near future. It is possible that cyclists will be able to test the reconstructed bike path even before the Second European Games.
