264 heart transplantations performed in Belarus

264 heart transplantations have been performed in Belarus. In seven cases, they were made on children. Foreign patients are interested in such services as well, 42 of them have already undergone the surgery.  The waiting list for transplantation today is small in Belarus. There are plans to develop hybrid cardiosurgery in the country. For this purpose a new surgery block is being designed, which will allow performing more qualitatively such complex surgeries as aorta replacement.
