New complexes installed at border checkpoints will allow scanning goods on the railway up to two times faster. International Customs Day is celebrated by about 800,000 people all over the world. According toBelarus" State Customs Committee, new equipment will be installed at the country"s border checkpoints, allowing scanning goods on the railway with a special complex up to two times faster. The device will be installed at theBrest- Severny station later this year. Similar complexes have been used by Belarusian customs officers previously for scanning motor vehicles only.Belarusis home to a total of nine such complexes.
