20 million trees will be planted during the nationwide Forest Week campaign in Belarus. From April 13 to April 20, its participants will help clean up garbage, spruce up public spaces, and also landscape roadside areas. The campaign is held for the 12th time. In 2019 it is dedicated to the Year of the Small Motherland and the 75th anniversary of Belarus' liberation from the Nazi invaders. A hundred memorial alleys will be planted ahead of the anniversary. A special competition is going to be held among schools students. The participant who plants the largest number of trees will be announced as the winner.
