170 lime trees to be planted along Independence Avenue

Independence Avenue in Minsk can become the key item of a joint nomination with the participation of interested countries for inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List. This spring 170 lime trees will be planted along the avenue. The planting will be carried out before bud pushing. By the way, originally this very wood species was growing along the main street of the capital city. And for the inclusion of Independence Avenue in the UNESCO World Heritage List, it is desirable to preserve its original appearance.
