16 doctors earned Ph.D in 2017

In 2017 proclaimed as the Year of Science in Belarus, 16 doctors have earned Ph.D. Among them are leading specialists of scientific and practical centers, representatives of departments of medical universities and the Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Studies. Almost half of them are doctors under 45 years old. Yesterday the newly-minted Ph.Ds met with the Minister of Health. The medical workers visited the PET center and the laboratory of carcinogenesis of the National Scientific and Practical Centre of Oncology and Medical Radiology and discussed the development of oncology service, as well as future researches. In total, more than two and a half thousand specialists with a scientific degree work in the public health system. Every year they defend more than one hundred Candidate’s and 15 doctoral dissertations.
