The 111th ISU European Figure Skating Championships in Minsk were visited by 105,000 spectators. 90,000 tickets were purchased, a third of them were bought by foreign figure skating lovers not only from Europe, but also from faraway countries, e.g. Chile and Japan. 15,000 seats of Minsk-Arena were provided free of charge to schoolchildren and state enterprises employees. TV viewers from 20 countries of the world, including the USA, China, Brazil, and Japan watched the European Figure Skating Championships. The international community noted that the competitions in the Belarusian capital were well organized and held at a high level. The next European Figure Skating Championships will be hosted by the Austrian Graz in January 2020.
