100% access to clean water project underway in Minsk region

40 iron removal stations are to open in 15 districts of the Minsk region soon. The launch of modern filtration stations will solve the problem of high iron content in water. Now the construction of such a complex is underway in the Berezinsky district. The station will be launched this year and will be providing the entire city of Berezino with clean water. Today, almost 90% of the citizens of the Minsk region receive absolutely clean tap water. There are plans to reach 100% access to clean water within the next few years. It is planned to build about 350 such stations in order to provide the entire population with high quality drinking water from centralized sources. The construction is expected to be completed in 2025.
