A. Lukashenko and V. Putin seriously and thoroughly discussed the topic of Kaliningrad transit, which became one of the main ones during the conversation. The heads of state also discussed the progress of the special military operation, dwelled in detail on the situation in the post-Soviet space. Another important topic was Russia’s energy supplies to Europe. V. Putin noted that due to numerous difficulties ahead of the winter period (considerable shortages and a difficult situation with supplies in general), Russia was ready to fulfill its obligations and, at the request of the countries of Western Europe, ensure the supply of natural gas and other energy resources. Other important topics of the conversation were deliveries of Belarusian goods through the ports of St. Petersburg and the construction of the Belarusian port in Bronka. Recently, A. Lukashenko indicated that Belarus intended to redirect about 20 million tons of cargo to these logistics hubs.
