Progress of the harvest in the President's report

President Aleksandr Lukashenko heard a report from Minister of Agriculture and Food Yuri Gorlov. Key topics included the progress of the harvest campaign and harvest forecasts, winter crop sowing, and the implementation of the Head of State's order to build calf shelters. To date, farmers have harvested over 4.6 mln tonnes of grain. Brest and Minsk Oblasts are among the first regions to reach a million-tonne harvest, and farmers in Grodno Oblast will soon surpass the million-tonne mark. Moreover, the condition of the grain in the fields and other factors suggest a harvest no lower than last year's.
