The meeting of the Presidents of Belarus and Cuba took place today in the Palace of Independence in Minsk. The negotiations were held in a narrow and expanded formats. The agenda featured international relations and ways to further economic cooperation. The heads of state noted the serious potential for interaction. A number of agreements, programs and memoranda were signed in various fields: from education and justice, to science and mass media. The central document is a joint statement by heads of state in which the Presidents emphasize the allied nature of the relations.
