National education system development discussed at meeting with President

The development of the national education system was discussed at the Palace of Independence. This includes updating curricula in schools and universities, raising the prestige of the teaching profession, new textbooks, and digital transformation of educational processes. School curricula should be streamlined and updated, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said. Sometimes hard tasks scare children away from school and discourage them from studying at all. The content and the quality of publication should be at the highest level. The same pertains to university freshmen and sophomores textbooks, who should get the feel of their future profession from the get-go.
