Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed Decree No. 343, approving monetary policy targets for 2027. The document was adopted to create conditions for sustainable economic growth. The list of targets aligns with the requirements set for the National Bank and the banking system as a whole: fostering economic growth while maintaining price and financial stability. Parameters established by the decree include: consumer price growth of no more than 6%; international reserve assets of at least $12.8 billion; a share of non-performing bank assets (relative to assets exposed to credit risk) of no more than 10%; and an increase in investment financing volume of at least 13%.
