Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said that he upholds the idea to give the OSCE a bigger role in addressing international issues as he met with OSCE Secretary General Thomas Greminger, who came to participate in an anti-terror conference. The Head of State said that the fact that Minsk hosts this conference sends a strong message to our region. We have gathered to discuss a very important problem facing the humankind now. Terrorism, cybercrime, human trafficking, and illegal migration are the issues that raise great concern worldwide, in particular, in our region, the President said. Alexander Lukashenko noted that Belarus will soon host a Munich Security Conference Core Group meeting and invited Thomas Greminger to participate in it.
