Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko invited foreign leaders to attend the 2nd European Games 2019 in Minsk during the CIS Heads of State Council meeting in Dushanbe. The Head of State stressed that the opportunity to host such a big sport forum is a great honor for Belarus. On Friday, the capital of Tajikistan hosted the CIS Heads of State summit. Addressing the meeting, Belarus President called the CIS states to maintain unity and work together while the existing international trade system goes to pieces. The head of state underlined that the enhancement of economic cooperation remains an immutable priority of Belarus' membership in the Commonwealth of Independent States.
