Information security and major mass media discussed at government session held by Belarus President

New approaches to ensuring information security of the state have been discussed at a government session held by Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko. According to him, formation of a new structure of information security is a very serious aspect of the country’s security in general. The participants of the meeting also discussed Belarus’ advertising market. A proposal to develop a new media measurement system will be submitted for consideration to Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko in the coming days, Spokeswoman for the Belarusian President Natalya Eismont told the media after the session. Having heard all the suggestions, the head of state noted that the system should work in the interest of the country and instructed to submit a concrete proposal, following further discussion, shortly.
