The second European Games is the most important social and political event in the history of the country, so the sports forum should be held at the highest level. The Belarus national team has the task to perform no worse than in Baku. Alexander Lukashenko made this statement today at the meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus. All infrastructure must meet the highest standards. Prime Minister Sergei Rumas reported that by May 15 all the facilities will be ready for the multisports forum. Also at the executive committee, Viktor Lukashenko was approved as the Acting First Vice-President of the NOC. This post is temporary, Viktor Lukashenko will combine it with the post of presidential aide for national security.
