Development of alcoholic beverage industry discussed at meeting with President of Belarus

The development of the alcoholic beverage industry was discussed at a meeting with the President. The main task remains to protect the domestic market from counterfeit goods, because this is a threat to health. Therefore, serious control of this sphere is the responsibility of the state, and this is a worldwide practice. The subject of development of this industry has already been discussed, in 2015, by a presidential decree, a holding for the production of alcoholic beverages was created. It includes 7 large enterprises and one sales company. Although the production volumes have increased, exports are growing slowly. The topic of export diversification remains relevant. The president set the task to settle all issues by the end of the yaer.
