Today the President of Belarus is on a working trip to the Grodno region, where he visited one of the sites involved in a comprehensive check of combat readiness. During the event, the personnel of formations and military units will move to designated areas, where a number of exercises and training will take place, including live firing. Work is also underway to strengthen the border section, patrolling, and aerial reconnaissance of the area using drones. As was noted by the Ministry of Defense, in the current aggravated military-political situation, great attention is paid to maintaining a high level of readiness. This is especially true when large-scale exercises of multinational NATO forces are taking place both throughout Europe and near the Belarusian borders. The President was informed that the situation in the northwestern direction remains difficult and tense. Anti-tank ditches and firing positions are being created near the state border, and the number of ammunition in warehouses is increasing. The total strength of the force is now about 3,200. Aerial reconnaissance is also conducted over Belarus. On average, 4-5 reconnaissance aircraft sorties are recorded every day. In total, 132 combat aircraft from the NATO aviation group are based near the border. Taking these factors into account, the Armed Forces began testing combat and mobilization readiness. Within the framework of the given combat orders, military units will be withdrawn to designated areas. The movement of military equipment is planned and temporary restrictions on the movement of civilian transport on public roads and areas are possible.
