Belarus to hold parliamentary elections in 2019

Belarus President delivered the State of the Nation Address to the Belarusian people and the National Assembly touching upon all aspects of the country's development. Among other things, the head of state focused on the upcoming political campaigns. This year elections to the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic will be held. The parliamentary elections will be an exam not only for candidates and the entire vertical of power, but also for every voter, stressed Alexander Lukashenko. The presidential elections in Belarus will be held in 2020 in accordance with the terms established in the Constitution. As the President emphasized, the elections should be held in an orderly and peaceful manner, as it always has been.
