Belarus President presents Doctor of Sciences diplomas and Professor certificates to scholars and academic staff

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko presented Doctor of Sciences diplomas and Professor certificates to scholars and academic staff of the country. Among those awarded are nineteen luminaries of the national science. According to the head of state, Belarusian scientists still have to accomplish a lot tasks. There is a need to increase the competitiveness of the domestic economy, to ensure the national security of Belarus, to discover new ways to prevent diseases and treat them. The state is ready to support any constructive initiatives and breakthrough ideas provided that the results of the advanced development find practical use in the real sector and social sphere.
