Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko met with the EAEU heads of government. The integration’s development was in the spotlight of the meeting. The head of state remarked that four years had passed since the adoption of the EAEU treaty, which was meant to lift all barriers in the movement of goods, services, capitals and workforce. According to the president, in certain areas new barriers replace old ones. Alexander Lukashenko said that the union still needs to address vigorously developing new industries, because cooperation in these fields will make an additional contribution to the development of the union. Today Minsk also hosted a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in narrow and extended formats.
