Belarus President made a number of personnel decisions. Alexander Lukashenko dismissed Deputy Prime Minister, Mogilev Region Governor and Agriculture and Food Minister. Aide to the president – inspector for Mogilev Oblast will perform the duties of the Shklov District Executive Committee Chairman. The recent visit of the Belarusian leader to the Kupalovskoye agricultural holding revealed new shortcomings in the Mogilev region, which in total became the basis for tough personnel decisions. The region is lagging behind in growth rates of the economy, industry and agriculture. Moreover, a week earlier, the Mogilev governor was reprimanded for failing to comply with the instructions of the President about the timely payment of salaries in the region.
