Alexander Lukashenko met with Ukrainian politician Viktor Medvedchuk

Today Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko met with Viktor Medvedchuk, a Ukrainian politician, the head of the political council of the political party Opposition Platform – For Life. Viktor Medvedchuk said that in the morning before the meeting with the Belarusian head of state he joked that unlike all the other citizens of Ukraine he had a unique chance of learning precisely now who would win the presidential election in the second round on 21 April. “I remember your press conference where you were asked the question and you were analyzing what might happen,” the politician explained. Alexander Lukashenko remarked that he is very interested in what Belarus should expect from Ukraine in the future.
