Today Belarusian President and Russian President held a bilateral meeting ahead of a plenary session of the 5th Forum of Regions. Alexander Lukashenko warmly welcomed Vladimir Putin in Mogilev. He noted that this city can be considered Russian as well since it lies in the east of Belarus close to the Russian border. In his words, the current meeting between the presidents of Belarus and Russia is not the final one this year. The presidents are expected to meet as part of the international summits in Astana and Moscow. After the welcoming ceremony, the heads of state headed for the venue of the plenary session of the forum. It will be dedicated to regional cooperation as a key factor in integration and Union State development.
