The Head of State stated this during a meeting with Denis Manturov, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of Russia. The President of Belarus thanked the Deputy Prime Minister of the neighbouring country for supporting Belarus in important areas of industry. The Head of State emphasized that Belarus has long since set a course for cooperation with Russia and steadfastly adheres to it, considering it an honor. The conversation focused primarily on economic issues, in particular, the development of the industrial sector. Aleksandr Lukashenko brought up the topic of joint production with Russia of the Osvei aircraft and also announced plans to meet with the President and Prime Minister of Russia.
