A.Lukashenko requested to scrutinize system of consumers' cooperation in Belarus

The Head of State met with chairman of the board of the Belarusian consumers' cooperation society. Valery Ivanov reported to the President about the organization's re-branding. It is a completely new service, assortments of goods and their availability in the rural areas, even in the most remote localities. There, private business is not active. Over the 8 months of the current year, 12 shops within walking distance were opened, 9 traveling vans launched, more than 400 trading units refurbished. Yet problems exist as well – the need to raise competitive ability, optimize the personnel. A big conference to discuss future of the consumers' cooperation with the President participating, is slated for the February.
