A.Lukashenko orients Belarusian agriculture at development of new avenues

The agricultural complex needs fresh ideas for its development. New avenues should be actively generated. The President set the task forth, as he visited Gazovik Sipakovo enterprise in the Shklov district. There, the Head of state examined the readiness of the equipment to the sowing campaign. Last year, the enterprise had the best results in the district. It plans to reach full self-funding. The President was briefed about the social and economic development of the Mogilev region and the course of spring field works. The mass sowing campaign has started. This year, the agrarians plan to gather no less than 8 and a half million tons of grain. The Head of state ordered to raise the average salary in the branch to 500 dollars within 2 years, and reexamine the experience of assigning agricultural farms to large enterprises.
