All children should be prepared for the new school year, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he heard out a report of Belarus Education Minister Igor Karpenko. It detailed the readiness of schools, changes in secondary and higher education and other innovations in the system. Almost all schools are ready for classes. Specialists checked the food blocks, dining rooms, tidied up gyms and classrooms. This year, more than 3 thousand schools will work in Belarus, one million 30 thousand children will study in them. Also today, Aleksandr Lukashenko announced a big meeting on improving the education system. Possible changes to university enrollment are to be discussed.
