Belarus is ready for further development of mutually beneficial trade and economic relations with the Irkutsk region and the implementation of new joint projects. This was announced today by President Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting with the governor of the region. The head of state noted that over the two years that have passed since the latest visit of Sergey Levchenko, the previous agreements received their practical implementation, as a result of which the mutual trade has grown. In January-August, it increased by 35% and amounted to more than $67 million. Among the new promising projects are the supplies of electric buses and agricultural equipment, cooperation in industry, the participation of Belarusians in construction and infrastructure projects. Irkutsk Aviation Plant is of particular interest. It plans to begin production of the MS-21, and our airlines want to buy these aircraft.
