A.Lukashenko made working trip to Brest region

Belarus President made a working trip to Brest region. The head of state toured Baranovichi District where he met with local authorities. The meeting focused on social and economic matters and burning issues of the region. Alexander Lukashenko instructed local authorities to monitor prices and salary issues. People are mostly concerned about these matters. The head of state emphasized, however, that both salaries and pensions primary depend on the economic development and efficient operation of companies. The main thing is to support economic development of all regions so that to be able to address social issues and to reduce to a minimum the gap between the quality of living and the level of the socio-economic development.
