Belarus and Russia’ Novosibirsk region are ready to strengthen ties and reach new agreements. Today Belarus President met with Novosibirsk region Governor Andrei Travnikov. The representative Russian delegation has already visited a number of Belarusian enterprises, held a session of the council for business cooperation and talks in the government. According to Alexander Lukashenko, Novosibirsk region is one of Belarus’ most promising economic partners in Russia’s Siberia. Belarusian entrepreneurs run successful businesses in the region. Belarus-made foodstuffs, footwear, textiles, furniture sell very well there. Soon a new batch of tractors will be delivered. Belarus is ready to help implement the Novosibirsk region agriculture development program. Russian governors often visit Belarus. For them, it is a good opportunity to strengthen regional cooperation in industry, agriculture and science.
